Photography: Sky Paintings

I have been taking photos of the sky for a few years. This ongoing project is something I do when I am feeling otherwise uninspired. I take inspiration from the ever-changing swaths of color and pattern I witness while looking at the sky on walks through my neighborhood, and this informs my other work. I use these sunset photos as inspiration for my color palette. I feel at peace while gazing at the sky. I know I can return to these photos later, when I want to revisit that feeling.
